Ermoupoli (Greek: Ερμούπολη), also known with by formal older name Ermoupolis or Hermoupolis (Greek: Ἑρμούπολις < Ἑρμοῦ πόλις "Town of Hermes"), is the capital and main city of the island of Syros and the Cyclades prefecture in Greece.
